I had to take a quick side glance at the calender this last week to make sure it was November, as certain parts of the Kelowna Real Estate Market have remained busy during the last month.

We are still seeing ‘multiple offers’ on listings, and for one property, we were the first of 17 showings on a newly listed Lower Mission Home!

Buyers are still definately out there looking, and Agents are reporting Open House Visitor numbers are brisk.

Sales continued to slow in November, with total sales down 23%, on last month,with Single Family Homes sales down 30% and Strata sales down 17%.  Compared to this time last year total residential sales are up slightly by 7.4%.

I do believe sales would have been higher had there been more inventory available.

Looking at the Residential sales numbers for last month, sales were across all price ranges, with 19 sales over $1m and the largest sale was a $4,725,000 Lakeshore home in Lower Mission.

The BC Real Estate Association has just posted its Forecast for the whole of BC for 2017.
